Switching ISPs is Easy!

We've provided you with some useful information below that will help you cancel your current Internet service, switch to PeoplePC Online and how to share your new contact information with friends and family.

Cancel your current Account Internet Service Provider agreement.

Here is a list of the major Internet Service Providers, along with the phone numbers and the other information you need to cancel your account. When you contact your old provider, be sure to have the following information available:

» Username (email address and/or screen name)

» Password

» Mailing address and/or phone number

» Number of the credit card that you charged the service to
(sometimes the last four digits are used for verification purposes)

» Ask that confirmation of your cancellation be faxed or mailed to your home address.

Share your new email address with friends and family.

After you sign up for PeoplePC Online, send an email to everyone in your address book with your new email contact information.

Click the 'Email Change Notification' icon on your desktop to get started.

Members can cancel over the phone, online, by fax , or by mail.

Web: Go to Customer Support (http://help.aol.com/) and sign in with your AOL Screen Name. Then go to My Account and select Price Plans. Select the Change to Free option to cancel your AOL internet access and keep your AOL account.

Microsoft Network (MSN)
MSN Members can cancel their subscriptions only by contacting MSN Customer Support by phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Netscape Internet Service
Members must cancel over the phone.
