We offer all our Internet access subscribers automatic email virus and spam controls, as well as a Toolbar with privacy protection and pop-up blocking.

Where is PeoplePC Dial-Up Internet service available?
Our dial up Internet access is available nationwide in the U.S. We offer our members thousands of local Internet access numbers from which to choose. So it's very likely you can get a reliable 56K dial up Internet connection from where you live.

Can I use dial up to access the Internet if I'm away from home?
Yes. Before you hit the road, look up phone numbers near your destination and add to your PeoplePC Dialer software one or more phone number that will be local for the area code to which you are traveling.3

How do I get set up after I join?
It’s quick and easy to get started with PeoplePC. Order our Accelerated Dial-Up service today and we'll send you a welcome kit that includes all the software you need for a great dialup connection, email, security and more. Want to get going today? You’ll also have the option to download the software immediately after sign-up.

We recommend that you install our PeoplePC dial up software to quickly and easily set up your account and get on the Internet fast. It will also help you connect and give you easy access to many features of your PeoplePC service.

How do I set up my email?
It's simple! All you need to do is go to webmail.peoplepc.com and sign in with your PeoplePC email address and password.

Can I talk on the phone and use my Dial-Up connection at the same time?
We offer EarthLink Internet Call Waiting, which lets you screen phone calls and catch messages while you are online with a dial up connection.

Is it easy to switch to PeoplePC from another Internet service provider?
Yes. It's fast and easy to switch to PeoplePC in 3 simple steps!

  1. Sign up for PeoplePC Internet service.
  2. Install our dial-up software and set up your PeoplePC email.
  3. Cancel your current dial up Internet service.

How can I pay for my PeoplePC Dial-Up service?
For your convenience, you can pay for your Internet service with a valid Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, or Discover® card or have your payments automatically deducted each month from your checking account (monthly billing plans only).

Do I need to have an active home phone line for PeoplePC Dial-Up service?
Yes. An active phone line is required before you can use dial-up service. If you don’t currently have home phone service, you would need to activate it through your phone company before you could sign up for PeoplePC service.

What are the minimum system requirements for PeoplePC's Internet connection software?
