Our dial up access is available nationwide in the U.S. We offer our members thousands of local Internet access numbers from which to choose. So it's very likely you can get a reliable 56K dial up Internet connection from where you live.
Can I use dial up to access the Internet if I am away from home?
Yes. Before you hit the road, look up phone numbers near your destination and add to your PeoplePC Dialer software one or more phone number that will be local for the area code to which you are traveling.**
How do I get set up after I join?

How do I set up my email?
It's easy! After you sign up, simply go to webmail.peoplepc.com and sign in with your PeoplePC email address and password. PeoplePC Web Mail gives you access to your email from any online computer.
Can I talk on the phone and use my Dial-Up connection at the same time?
Our Security Plus Dial-Up service includes free Internet Call Waiting-Alert***, which lets you screen phone calls and catch messages while you are online with a dial up connection. Or you can upgrade to the Pro version of Internet Call Waiting if you’d like to take calls while you are online.
Is it easy to switch to PeoplePC from another Internet service provider?

How can I pay for my PeoplePC Dial-Up service?
For your convenience, you can pay for your Internet service with a valid Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, or Discover® card or have your payments automatically deducted each month from your checking account (monthly billing plans only).
Do I need to have an active home phone line for PeoplePC Dial-Up service?
Yes. An active phone line is required before you can use dial-up service. If you don’t currently have home phone service, you would need to activate it through your phone company before you could sign up for PeoplePC service.
